Gerald Smith and his family purchased High Smith Farm in 1976, and started milking a small herd while purchasing other farms. In 2001, their son Jeff and his family moved back full time. In later years, they received part time help from grandson, Greg. Presently, they are milking a herd of black and white Holstein cows in a double 12 parallel parlor and also grain farm.
